About Your Payroll Department

Kelly Walton

After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Business Management, Kelly joined Your Payroll Department as a Sales Consultant and Payroll Specialist. Kelly has since graduated with a Masters of Science in Accounting and is currently studying for the CPA exams. With over five years of payroll experience, Kelly is now a partner with Your Payroll Department and manages a team of payroll professionals. Her goal is to help ensure that our small business clients have payroll services designed specifically to meet their needs.

In her free time, Kelly enjoys gardening, spoiling her two dogs, and traveling around the world.

Twilla Walton, CPA, JD

Twilla Walton has been assisting small business with their payroll processing and compliance needs for more than twenty-five years. As a CPA and an attorney, she understands that most small businesses don’t fully understand all of the rules and guidelines surrounding payroll.  Your Payroll Department was founded as a mechanism to provide small business owners with a comprehensive package of payroll solutions that are designed to offer a full complement payroll solutions that most in-house payroll processing packages can’t compete with.

While not working in the firm, she can be found working on the family farm and ranch or riding her horse.

Sarah Heath

Sarah Heath is an extreme extrovert and loves turning a stranger into a friend. She is a native Texan, and graduate of Plano Senior High School and Texas Tech University. Sarah has a passion for helping people achieve their business goals by finding creative ways to solve problems and support her clients. Sarah is active in the Plano Chamber, Frisco Chamber, and the BNI Rich Referrals group in Richardson.

Sarah is married to a handsome chiropractor, and they live in Prosper with their dog Ember.

Sandy Avery

Sandy has been managing Your Payroll Department since 1995 and has watched the business grow since the very beginning. Sandy is an expert in the payroll industry and loves talking to small business owners! With over 25 years of payroll experience, Sandy has seen how new technology, new leglislation, and new businesses have effected all businesses.

In her free time, Sandy enjoys donating her time to her local church, having a glass of wine with her friends, and visiting her two sons in Colorado.

Sheryl Adams

Sheryl has been a payroll specialist for Your Payroll Department since 1995 and has been an prevalent and detailed oriented team member from the very beginning. With over 25 years of payroll experience, Sheryl has connected with business owners to handle complicated and thorough payrolls that requires meticulous and observant attention to detail.

In her free time, Sheryl enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren, drinking a margarita at Gloria’s, and traveling around the world.

Dru McCready

Prior to joining Your Payroll Department team, Dru has extensive management and training knowledge in working in the restaurant industry. Dru’s position as a Payroll and Onboarding Specialist allows him to have positive communication with many industries and small business owners.

In his free time, Dru enjoys spending time with his son and daughter, watching all types of sporting events, and spending time with his extended family.
